There are nearly 2 million apps on the App Store, and many of the most useful or best designed can easily get lost in the crowd.

Here are a few that I genuinely love and use nearly every day:

I used to use to-do lists as my primary way of handling tasks. While they were useful for telling me what I had to get done, I found it difficult to prioritize my most important work and it quickly became overwhelming. They also gave me a false sense of productivity, where I would complete my easier tasks, while ignoring more important work, for the sake of crossing it off my list.
